SAHIC 2010
More than 350 key players from the Hospitality industry met at South America’s most important annual conference; SAHIC -South American Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference. There were participants from Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Venezuela, Barbados, Belgium, Canada, France, Spain, Grand Cayman, and the United States.
HVS Buenos Aires, in its 10th anniversary of operations in the region, organized SAHIC 2010 in the city of Cartagena de las Indias – Colombia, on September 27-28, 2010.
SAHIC has been the perfect place to promote the best qualities of South American countries and a great opportunity for key industry players, executives from major international holdings, and investors to explore new projects, building business contacts and relations.
In addition to the general and break-out sessions, this year the celebrated Networking Express model was successfully implemented, whereby participants were able to exchange specific and useful information during a few minutes. Furthermore, a series of awards were presented to projects, events, organizations, companies, and people who have contributed to the development of the hospitality industry in the region.
