Amrita Bhalla
Amrita is an accomplished HR executive with 20+ years of experience. In 2015, she founded A.B. Consulting, specializing in HR advisory services and workforce development programs for the hospitality and tourism sector, particularly in the Caribbean (including Saint Lucia, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Barbados). A.B. Consulting offers a comprehensive suite of HR services, including leadership development, executive coaching, executive recruitment, organizational development, and general HR advisory support.
Amrita is a member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and serves on the Board of the Caribbean Hospitality and Tourism Association Education Fund (CHTAEF). She is also an Advisory Board Member for Women in Tourism and Hospitality Canada (With.org) and Gaucho Group Holdings, a publicly traded company specializing in luxury goods, wine, hotels, real estate, and fashion.
Her background includes executive HR roles with luxury hospitality companies such as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Oberoi Group, and Belmond, with experience living and working in Canada, Bermuda, the UK, Thailand, the Middle East, and India. Since 2015, she has also taught Human Resources Management and Organizational Behaviour at the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism (Toronto Metropolitan University). Amrita holds a Masters in Industrial Relations (MIR) and a BA (Honours) from Queen's University and divides her time between Toronto and Miami.
