For Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world's largest hotel franchise company, Latin America and the Caribbean (LATAMC) represents a key market in its expansion plans, due to its great potential as a region for tourism and business. In 2022 alone, we achieved a growth of more than 26% in the number of rooms, adding more than 8,350 rooms to our offer in the region.
We also entered new countries such as Jamaica, with the Registry Collection brand, and St. Kitts; Nevis with Ramada by Wyndham.
With these actions, we now offer more than 39,480 rooms in close to 250 properties in LATAMC, belonging to 18 of the 24 brands we operate globally, and with a presence in the main cities, including: Bogota, Buenos Aires, Cancun, Cartagena, Guayaquil, Lima, Mexico City, Quito, Panama, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago de Chile and Sao Paolo.
