Dan has over 13 years of experience in lodging real estate and impact-driven private equity. He oversees investments, development, asset management, and sustainability efforts for CPG Hospitality’s lodging-related assets in Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, he is a founding partner of CREO Capital, an impact-driven real estate private equity firm focusing on investments in Latin America, with an emphasis on conservation finance, natural capital, and regenerative development. Furthermore, Dan is the founding partner of Land Stewardship Co, a Costa Rican-based management and investment company that provides place-based advisory and consulting services, as well as investible opportunities for large-scale land stewardship and systems-based regeneration. LSC promotes and activates collective action between multiple land uses on a landscape scale for the long-term ecological, social, and economic benefit and wellbeing of ecosystems.
Previously, Dan served as an Investment Officer at CoreCo Private Equity and as an investment analyst at JP Morgan.
Dan currently serves on the boards of Hacienda Ario and CIRENAS, a 5000-acre sustainable ranch and experiential environmental education non-profit that creates transformative connections between people and the environment (www.cirenas.org). Dan holds a BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Cornell University.
