David Tarr was appointed Senior Vice President of Development for Hyatt Hotels Corporation in September 2007. In directing the Americas Region development team for Hyatt, David leads growth activities through new hotel development, acquisition, franchise and management contract transactions for Hyatt’s full-service brands (Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt, Park Hyatt, Andaz, Alila, Thompson, Joie de Vivre Hotels, Destination Hotels & Resorts, and The Unbound Collection by Hyatt) in North America, and all brands, including Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, and Caption by Hyatt in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Prior to joining Hyatt, David’s 10-year career at Marriott International included a variety of Development and Asset Management positions. His last role at Marriott was Senior Vice President of Development, overseeing the company’s full-service hotel development activity in the Eastern Region.

A 30-year industry veteran, David’s previous hotel real estate and development experience included tenure as a hospitality industry consultant, providing hotel market, feasibility, and appraisal advisory services to property developers, owners, and lenders, as well as corporate development with Extended Stay America. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, and is based at Hyatt’s corporate headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.

A partir de octubre de 2020, Thomas Dubaere es el director ejecutivo de Accor South America, líder en 9 países y más de 400 hoteles. Bajo su dirección, Dubaere ha abierto más de 22 nuevos hoteles, ofreciendo al mercado 3.700 nuevas habitaciones, además de firmar 14 contratos. Su gran ambición es llegar a 700 hoteles en operación y pipeline para 2025.

Graduado de la Escuela de Hotelería de Bruselas, con una Maestría en Administración de la Universidad de Lovaina, Dubaere comenzó su carrera en el Novotel Bruges Centre, Bélgica y ocupó varios cargos hasta convertirse en Director de Operaciones de Marcas Económicas en Bélgica y Luxemburgo en 2005. En 2012, Thomas asumió el cargo de Director General para Reino Unido e Irlanda.

En 2018, Dubaere asumió el cargo de director de operaciones de Accor Northern Europe, responsable de Reino Unido, Irlanda, Escandinavia, los Países Bajos, Bélgica y Luxemburgo. Su objetivo para Accor South America es desarrollar el ecosistema hotelero más grande y mejor integrado de la industria.
