His career has focused on the creation of award winning internationally acclaimed destinations. A member of the Regional Executive Team of Marriott International, where he serves as Senior Continent Leader, leading the CALA Global Design office providing strategic leadership for the successful execution of architecture, interior design, and project management of new hotels, conversions, and renovations across the Caribbean and Latin America region. Prior to Global Design, Emilio was a partner at a world-class boutique design firm as a VP and Principal, responsible for the expansion, positioning and project delivery around the globe, specializing in design for luxury hotels, resorts, and mixed-use properties.Emilio is a member of The American Institute of Architects; Urban Land Institute; Design Management Institute and The Institute of Architects of Dominican Republic.
