Federico Greppi is the Chief Financial Officer, Franchise Operations and Owner Relations of Marriott International’s Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region, leading the Finance/Franchise/OFS functions of a $5B+ revenue region, covering 37 countries and territories and nearly 500 operating hotels.
Federico took on the role of CFO in January 2017 and expanded his responsibilities to Franchise Operations and Owner Relations in 2020. He is currently operationally responsible for 345 Franchised hotels driving $3B+ in revenue across 20+ countries.
He started his career in the hospitality industry in 2004, holding several positions for Headquarters, The Americas and Latin America divisions in Starwood. Starting as CFO for Mexico and Central America, in 2015 he was appointed CFO for the Americas division and closely supported the integration efforts between Marriott and Starwood across the continent.
Prior to joining the hotel industry, Federico worked with Andersen, a Global leader in consulting and financial services, from 1993 to 2001. He held various progressive roles assisting varied types of clients including global banks, insurers, and retailers.
Federico holds an MBA degree from the London Business School (2001-2003) and has a BS in Business Administration and a BS in Accounting. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
He is an avid soccer fan and enjoys reading and traveling in his spare time. Currently he resides in Florida with his family.
