A global citizen, shaped in innumerable ways by a lifelong passion and commitment towards the outdoors, Jesús Parrilla, is naturally steered in the direction of companies that advocate for responsible, sustainable, and ethical business practices.

Jesús is a multi-disciplinarian with 25 years of experience in management, operations, sales, marketing, communications, and business development.

Currently, Jesús is the CEO of INTO Hospitality, a conservation finance company whose business model closes the funding gap for conservation via hospitality and ecotourism with particular focus on OECMs (Other Effective Conservation Methods).

Over the past 16 years, Jesús has been involved in operating and developing lodges for luxury hospitality companies like Explora, where he served as CEO and Commercial VP for over 7 years. Jesús has held Board of Directors positions at Metropolitan Touring in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Peru.

Jesús served as the Executive Director of Smartrip Chile, a B Corporation that aims to contribute effectively and efficiently to the sustainable development of tourist destinations in Chile and Peru. He currently sits on the Board of Directors.

Most recently, Jesús was a principal at with Luxury Frontiers, a design and hospitality firm who in addition to designing award-winning luxury tented camps, hotels, and lodges, to also provide strategic guidance and recommendations to tourism boards, travel outfitters, landowners, hotel brands, and investors all over the world. Jesús´ role with Luxury Frontiers specifically involved leading the strategic advisory practice to clients looking to restructure, reposition and venture into the experiential hospitality space.

Jesús received an International MBA from the University of Memphis with a concentration in Marketing and his Bachelor’s degree in General Management and International Business from St. Mary’s University.

En la actualidad, Jesús Parrilla es el CEO de INTO Hospitality, una empresa de financiación de la conservación cuyo modelo de negocio cierra la brecha de financiación para la conservación a través de la hospitalidad y el ecoturismo, con especial atención a los OECM (Otros Medidas Efectivas de Conservación).

Durante los últimos 16 años, Jesús ha participado en la administración y el desarrollo de hoteles para empresas como Explora, donde fue CEO Vicepresidente Comercial durante más de 7 años. Jesús ha ocupado cargos en el Consejo de Administración de Metropolitan Touring en Argentina, Chile, Colombia y Perú.

Jesús también se desempeñó como Director Ejecutivo de Smartrip Chile, una Empresa B que tiene como objetivo contribuir de manera eficaz y eficiente al desarrollo sostenible de los destinos turísticos en Chile y Perú. Actualmente forma parte del Consejo de Administración.

Más recientemente, Jesús fue socio de Luxury Frontiers, una empresa de diseño y arquitectura que, además de diseñar hoteles y lodges de lujo, también proporciona dirección estratégica a propietarios de tierras, marcas hoteleras e inversores de todo el mundo. El papel de Jesús en Luxury Frontiers consistió específicamente en liderar la práctica de asesoramiento estratégico a clientes que buscan reestructurar, reposicionar y aventurarse en el espacio de la hospitalidad experiencial.
