Joanna Ayala
Joanna Ayala is responsible for Marriott International's development in the Andean Region. She joined Marriott in 2022 initially responsible for the development of managed properties in the Caribbean. Before joining Marriott, she worked for over three years at the NH Hotel Group as the Assets and Development Director for the Americas. Between 2013 and 2019, she worked for AccorHotels as a Development Manager for various countries in LATAM. She also worked for the Synergy Group, owned by Germán Efromovich, as part of the team that created Movich Hotels in Colombia and led its development in the country. Joanna holds a BA degree from CESA University in Colombia and pursued further studies at the University of Kansai Gaidai in Hirakata, Japan.
