Paula Muniz just started with Melia Hotels International as Head of Development, responsible for expanding the company's presence in Brazil. With 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Paula worked in hotel operations as Sales & Marketing for the first 15 years and in Development and Real Estate over the last 15 years. Paula started her career with Hilton International in Sales & Marketing, and since then, has worked at leading companies such as IHG, Hilton Worldwide, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. At IHG and Hilton she served as Sales Director and Hilton and Hyatt she served as Vice President of Development & Real Estate for Brazil and the Southern Cone region. 

Paula holds a degree in Foreign Commerce and Business Administration from **Metodista University** in São Paulo, a certification in Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from **Cornell University (USA)**, and an Executive International MBA from **FIA Institution**. She has been a speaker at numerous industry events, addressing topics such as innovation in hospitality, local and international real estate investment strategies, and the current investment environment in Brazil. Paula speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
