Richard Rehwaldt is an accomplished hospitality industry professional with more than 26 years of experience, 23 of which have been dedicated to Best Western Hotels and Resorts. He currently serves as the head of the chain's Latin American operation, overseeing all services offered to the 75 Best Western branded hotels in the region from the company's regional headquarters in Mexico City. Richard provides leadership in Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Education and Training, Quality Assurance, and Operational Support, with a focus on expanding the brand's presence and portfolio in Latin America. 

Richard's extensive tenure with Best Western has seen him assume various roles in different global locations, including the company's global headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Lima, Peru. He has also led the brand's successful entry into new markets in Africa and the former Soviet Republics. Richard assumed his current position as the head of Latam in 2020 following the merger of Best Western's South American and Mexican operations.
